Digital experiments

I decided to test out some digital work through pencil sketches which I then traced on illustrator:

Positives:
- Able to capture the loose pencil feel, but still refine it
- Interesting to see how the collage works in a digital means
- Black over lay works to ground the work

Negatives:
- Solid colour defeats palimpsest point- could try transparency
- Colours are too flat, lose the handmade, collaborative feel to the project
- Although I like the control, I found the serendipity of print made more interesting, meaningful compositions

What next:
- Try to turn these into screen prints?
- Let the colours be dictated by what others have already mixed/chose
